Looking after it
Put the pearl ring on last and take it off first. Everything that damages a pearl — perfume, hairspray, hand gel — goes on before jewellery.
Resizing, re-polishing and re-blackening are free on anything from this bench, for as long as she is working. Everything else has a published price.
